Prevention of CO2 due to plastic recycling

Niedergebra/Bernburg, 20th June 2014 - Each ton of recycled plastic, which is used instead of comparable virgin material avoids specificly between 1.45 and 3.22 tons of climate-relevant greenhouse gases in the form of CO2 equivalents. This is what researchers of the University of Magdeburg-Stendal calculated on behalf of the plastic recycling companies mtm plastics GmbH, Multiport GmbH and MultiPet GmbH.

MultiPet and Multiport certified according to EuCertPlast

MultiPet and Multiport are continuing their quality-oriented way consistently. The companies, being qualified waste management companies and which are certified according to DIN 9001, 14000, 50001 and according to the German regulation on packaging have now participated in the Europe-wide certification procedures of EuCertPlast.

Multiport and MultiPet with new web presence and new product line

The companies Multiport Recycling GmbH and MultiPet Gesellschaft für PET Recycling mbH, specialised in plastics recycling, set new standards for innovation. A new modern service and user-orientated web page (www.plastic-recycling.eu) was released recently.

”The web page does not only present the entire business activities of our companies but also contains detailed information on our products”, the managing directors Herbert Snell and Michael Dausel explain. The modern and user-optimised design reflects the customer-oriented strategy of both companies.

10 years waste management company

For 10 years, MultiPet Gesellschaft für PET Recycling mbH has been a certified waste management company. This has given reason to Mr. Jörg Lacher, managing director of the bvse-Entsorgergemeinschaft e.V., to hand over the association’s certificate of honour to Mr. Herbert Snell, the director of the company.
